HEART IS A RESCUE ORGANIZATION
WE DO NOT RE-HOME PERSONAL PETS
OUR LIMITED NUMBER OF FOSTER HOMES ARE RESERVED FOR RESCUED ANIMALS ONLY

HEART loves all animals but we are a rescue organization. Our mission is to help the animals that have no one. Our phone line is jammed with calls to help hundreds of neglected, abused, orphaned or injured homeless animals each year. We do not have the resources (volunteer foster homes or finances) to take personal pets too. For help in re-homing a personal cat or dog we suggest POST-A-POOCH-PLUS, a HEART supported venue for finding safe and loving new homes for personal pets. Unfortunately, we cannot take in every animal into HEART. Our limited resources (volunteer foster homes and money) limit the number of animals we can care for. We receive hundreds of requests for help each year, many involving animals in dire need of our help. We strive to prioritize care so that the neediest animals receive our attention first.
