Millions of healthy, adoptable cats and dogs are euthanized each year in the U.S. because there simply are not enough homes for them all. Spaying or neutering our pets is the most effective way to reduce the vast numbers of animals who are born only to die prematurely without a family to love them. NEW YORK STATE ANIMAL POPULATION CONTROL PROGRAM

Program is for low-income pet owners. Only veterinarians approved by the state can accept the vouchers. The co-pay is $20.00. Vaccinations can be given at time of surgery at 50% of the normal cost. To be eligible to receive a voucher the following requirements must be met:
Owner must be a resident of New York State
Dogs must be licensed in New York State
Owner must be provide proof that they are on one of the following: Temporary Assistance, Food Stamps, Medicaid, Low Income Housing Program, SSI)
