Happy Endings are Hard to Accomplish
and Very Expensive - Our Special Needs Are

  • Monetary Donations. Your tax deductible contributions pay for our biggest expenses (emergency medical expenses, spay/neuters, medicines, cat food, dog food, and litter).

  • Gift Cards (Tops, Wegmans, Wal*Mart, OfficeMax, PetSmart, PETCO, Pet Supplies Plus, BJ's, Loew's, Home Depot)

  • Cat Litter (one of our biggest needs!!) We use both scoopable and clay litter.

  • Litter Boxes & Litter Scoops (must be new)

  • Paper Towels (one of our biggest needs!!)

  • KMR Brand Kitten Milk Replacement

  • High Quality Kitten Food (Purina, Science Diet, etc.)

  • We prefer not to take donations of adult cat/dog food. Switching foods is hard on digestion. We use monetary donations to buy specific foods needed by our foster animals.

  • Dog treats & biscuits of all sizes (no rawhides with knots on the ends - they are dangerous if swallowed).

  • Clear Trash Bags (clear bags are required by Village of Hamburg)

  • Safe outdoor environments for feral cats where they will be well cared for.

  • Loving permanent homes or long-term foster homes for feline leukemia (FeLV) cats. HEART is able to talk to you in detail about the care of FeLV cats. HEART will pay all medical bills.
